NMS Capital Group ( “NMSCG”), which was recently ranked second on the 2018 Los Angeles Business Journal’s List of Fastest Growing Private Companies announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell all equity ownership and rights to NMS Capital Advisors, LLC (the “Investment Bank”). Upon close of the transaction, the buyer, which is comprised of a private investors, acquired NMS Capital Group’s current equity ownership and rights with the transfer of the remaining equity being subject to regulatory approval. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. NMS Capital Advisors will continue to operate under its current name and the current management team will remain in place and continue managing the firm as it has for over a year. While it will continue to maintain a presence in the Los Angeles and Southern California area, the Investment Bank has moved its headquarters to New York City.
The Investment Bank was founded in 2006 where it operated out of a single location in Florida. In 2012, NMS Capital Group made an initial investment to acquire an equity stake in the Investment Bank, resulting in the firm changing its name, moving its headquarters to Beverly Hills, California and Trevor M. Saliba being appointed Chairman. During Mr. Saliba’s tenure as Chairman, the Investment Bank has grown substantially establishing itself as a leading, independent, international investment banking firm with a national presence in Beverly Hills, Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C. and an international presence in London, Hong Kong, Dubai and India.
